NE MESSAGE*

We celebrate 45 years of nationhood, continuing to progress, despite many challenges. Physical transformation of the city skyline reflects the resilience and dynamism of a nation with a can do spirit. We have good reasons to be optimistic and excited about the future. Our sucesses today has been built on the sacrifices and hard work of the founding generation and leaders. So how did we managed to solve all these problems and move on towards the future?
Fortunately, we have managed to do so because we have all the founding leaders that gave in their all to help managing Singapore.

B) Founding leaders such as :

Lee Kuan Yew, as our Minister Mentor now.
He have helped to guide Singapore since we had our independence.

Dr. Goh Keng Swee, The Architect of Singapore.
He passed away peacefully on 14th May 2010 .

 Dr. Toh Chin Chye
He was among the founder members with the PAP and was chairperson from its formation in 1954 to 1981, save for a brief period in 1957 when leftists took over the Party leadership. He was elected as a PAP member for Rochor in the 1959 general elections. He stepped down from the cabinet and party chairmanship in 1981. He served out his final two terms as a vocal backbencher, including criticising his own party on a regular basis. He retired from politics in 1988.

Mr Othman Wok , Former Cabinet Minister in Singapore for 14 years.
He was the Minister of Social Affairs from October 1963 to June 1977 and retired soon.

Mr. S Rajaratnam, Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore from 1980-85,
And a long-serving Minister and member of the Cabinet from 1959-88.

Other than them, they are still alot of leaders that guided Singapore to her success.
